Craniosacral Therapy

Craniosacral therapy is used to treat a wide range of illnesses such as migraine headaches, chronic neck and back pain, stress, chronic fatigue and other disorders. From the patient's point of view, this soothing therapy involves Dr. Woods placing her fingertips at the base of your skull and pressing gently while you lie on the adjustment table. It's a pleasant technique that brings on a dreamy, relaxed state of mind and body. It also has powerful healing effects. The craniosacral system comprises the membranes and cerebral spinal fluid that protects the brain and spinal cord. Imbalances and restrictions there can cause pain and other health difficulties.

Microcurrent

Using electricity to heal? Frequency Specific Microcurrent stimulates cellular physiology and growth. This technique uses extremely low voltage current to control pain and promote healing. In one study, patients got relief from chronic pain in less than two minutes with up to two weeks of residual effects. Patients report feeling relaxed and energized after treatment. It's been used effectively in cases of high blood pressure, carpal tunnel syndrome, headache and arthritis, among many other conditions.

Lab Tests

Conventional test and x-rays are scheduled when needed. In addition, many functional tests can also be ordered for hormone levels, gastrointestinal function, and hair mineral analysis.
